Tantooine

Characters:
Submission Type:

Lavaeus’s scout fighter dropped out of hyperspace on the night side of Tatoonie. Only a few moments later she’d found a spot to land, and began her descent into the planets atmosphere. The S-SC4 Blood Mark was several steps down from here Fury, but it had what she needed. Climbing down from the cockpit she surveyed her surroundings. The rocky terrain would conceal her transportation well enough, a few strategic placed mines would discourage any who did happen upon it.

Reborn in Exile

Submission Type:

As the stolen Imperial gunship rose into the clear blue sky beyond the jungle canopy, a group of four Massassai strode away from the landing zone. One carried the limp form of a muscular twi’lek female in his arms as if he were carrying a child.

What a Man Can Do

Characters:
Submission Type:

"Cap'n."

"Cap'n!?"

"Goddess be dam'd Car stop!" The small green twi'lek woman covered in grease chased after much larger lethan, having to practically run to keep up with the 7 foot tall male's stride. She then promptly slammed into him as the blasphemous phrase had him spin back toward her.

"What?" Cartulak was an imposing firm when he was in a pleasant mood. The scowl on the pirate's face now would make durasteel wilt.

Submission Type:

“Why are we doing this?” Essan wined, “you don’t owe her anything. Stars Car its not like she’d do it for you.” The rest of the crew nodded and looked to Car.

Awakened

Characters:
Submission Type:

"I don't know Hool that's an Imperial destroyer," the younger Rodian was understandably nervous. The Empire did not look kindly on 'unauthorized' salvage.

"You worry too much Paloo, it's a derelict she's been out here for months. No one cares about this wreck.

Shades of Faith

Submission Type:

He stood in the echo of her departure for several long moments, savoring the pounding race of his pulse. Perhaps it was the two days in a kolto tank with nothing but his thoughts. Perhaps the rising tide of the current crisis, either way the truth had been spoken aloud.

Belief and Purpose

Characters:
Submission Type:

The hunt done, the meal finished, the Masassi returned to their posts. Laveaus had been trying to participating as much as possible in their daily activities. There was nobility in what many called savagery. She didn't want them to listen just because the Mistress told them to, she wanted their respect as well. It was a different way of thinking to what she was used to, and as the lethan woman gazed out over the green canopy below her mind replayed the events that had brought her here.

On the Edge of Existence

Submission Type:

Jaakra held tight to the holdout blaster The White Lady ensured she left with. None of the Chiss here had tried to take it from her. They had pulled her out of kolto stasis for another battery of tests. She was starting to feel like a pincushion, she was still sick as hell. Fever burned her brain making more than basic interaction a chore, and her skin felt like it was trying to crawl away on its own.

Waiting...

Characters:
Submission Type:

Argus kept glancing back over his shoulder at the prisoner. Finally the Sgt had enough.

"Private the guy isn't going anywhere, he's got enough tranquil in him to put a rancor out for a week."

"If-if you say so Sarge"

The Dark Edge of Deep Space

Characters:
Submission Type:

Woken from a deep sleep Lavaeus bolted upright in bed, throwing the sheets back she stormed from her chambers, her saberstaff coming to her hand as she passed through the door.. The three subordinates present froze as the Sith Lord strode nake into the cockpit of the transport. While most recently full of a cold calculated control, the Sith Assassin was known to have bouts of wild rage, whether this was one or not, none of them were interested in being caught staring.

Submission Type:

((a little follow up and a bit more background for my Chiss, she also appears in a couple of other stories as a supporting character.  Enjoy))

The echo of her footfalls echoed in the corridor as Jaakra made her way back toward the speeder landing pad.  This had been the first time in over five years she had set foot in Imperial Intelligence HQ.  She had come under the pretense of a job and had gotten far more than she’d bargained; far more.

Lost Padawan: Part Three

Characters:
Submission Type:

The young Jedi had been wandering for almost half the day through the crowded and dangerous levels of Nar Shaddaa when it had occurred to him he hadn't really planned this far enough ahead.  Leaning on one of the outer walkway railings Zhanne looked out over the cityscape and sighed.

Lost Padawan: Part Two

Characters:
Submission Type:

Zhanne didn't recall at what point he fell asleep, but the healing stims had done a good deal to repair his condition by the time we had woken.  He was still in pretty rough shape, but at least he could move.  The chrono showed he'd been out for ten hours, and the pod's limited sensors still showed no sign of pursuit.  Using the supplies from the medkit he tried to clean up a bit.  He was a mess.  His hair was tangled and filled with soot and grease from the fires, his body was equally stained with both soot and blood.

Path of Rage: Earning her Saber

Characters:
Submission Type:

(Part 4)
Lavaeus frowned at the barren landscape before her.   She'd been out in this forsaken wilderness for nearly two weeks.  Walking was the only means to travel. Technology ruled out by the environment.  A beast of burden would have only been another to protect from the elements and dangers; or more likely just a draw to larger predators looking for a meal.  She'd slept little, and barely ate fortunately the caves she found cover in, from the almost constant sand storms in the valley, frequently contained some source of water.

Path of Rage: Tactical Training

Characters:
Submission Type:

(Part 3)
The exercise and training room of the Academy was often crowded with acolytes, today was no different.  All manner of conditioning continued here as these would be Sith pushed themselves in what little free time they had to gain any advantage over the competition.

Path of Rage: Lessons in Fury and Time Management

Characters:
Submission Type:

((Part 2, once again comments are welcome))

"Pitiful.  Your rage is undisciplined, unfocused.  Until you learn to control it you are nothing more than an animal, slave," the emphasis on the last word was meant to provoke her even more, taunt her, push her.

Gasoline, Gears and Gun Oil -15-

Platform:

Lit only by the fire he played with across his hand, Zane sits in his ragged old armchair, a cigarette hanging from his lip as he watched her sleep.  The blanket just covered the top of her firm buttocks, as Soyala lay on her stomach half turned toward the window.  So much had happened over the last week it was difficult to wrap his mind around it all, especially her...he still couldn't believe this all wasn't just a dream.
